I get so caught up in my studio I tend to forget just how much I enjoy plein air painting. You just can't get the same information or authenticity from a photo. The above 8x16 was painted on site from my trunk ( I forgot my tripod to put my pochade box on so I set it in the back of my car and used the back hatch like an umbrella. Worked out perfectly. Thanks to the Cape Cod Art Association, for getting my butt back out there.
